Dancing with the Wrentham Stars Event Update
updated March 24, 2020
We hope this update finds you all well.
Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker and state health officials have issued a stay-at-home advisory beginning Tuesday, March 24 and effective until Tuesday, April 7. Given this order, we are unable to conduct a live stream of the 2020 DWWS Competition on Friday, March 27.
We are truly heartbroken for our Stars; Lenny Hensas Jr., Brian Lee, Jenn Marshalsea, Kevin Martes, Cris McCombs, and Chandler Ross. We could never thank them enough for all their hard work; fundraising for their non-profits and the countless hours of dance practices. Their dedication and sacrifice, in these times of uncertainty, should give us all a reason to be hopeful and proud of our community.
To our non-profits, who continue to serve and support our neighbors in their time of need, we thank you for all you do day in and day out.
The mission of Wrentham Community Events, Inc. is to foster community spirit while providing financial help and driving awareness of local charities. As we look to brighter days ahead, we will stay the course.

What happens to money raised by the Stars to date?
Why not postpone?
The production of an event this size requires months of planning and scheduling with our venue, production company, dance instructors and Stars. Unfortunately, due to the uncertainty of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) timeline, it is impossible to select a date to reschedule.
